Barbados

I realize that it has taken me two weeks to finally write a post...I am aware how pathetic that is. I've been so busy but now I have some time so I'll fill you in on Barbados.

For starters, the weather was perfect every day. It was sunny and 80 with a breeze constantly. Most of the time we kept the a.c. off because it was so nice outside. On Sunday, we went to Mass and then took a drive to Atlantis and had brunch. The food was very good and the view was breathtaking. On Monday, we spent the day on the beach and at the pool because the weather was so nice. On Tuesday, we went to Holetown and browsed through the shops and had lunch. We took a drive to the Crane beach which was incredible..I'll upload the pictures so you can see how amazing it was. On Thursday we walked down to Acra beach which was also great. Acra is down the boardwalk and is probably one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. The next time I go to Barbados, I will definitely walk back there. On Friday, we went in and out of more shops in the area and then spent the remainder of the day at the pool. 

The best part of the trip was just being able to soak up the sun and walk around in shorts and a t-shirt..did I mention that it's STILL snowing here in lovely Latrobe? Well it is, and I'm so sick of it...I'm looking forward to it warming up again. This past week I had a lot of school work due, as well as a couple random meetings. However, Chris had a game on Wednesday afternoon and I was very glad to be able to go. The weather was great that day so it was nice to sit outside.
